Emerging Risks (ER) are new and\/or quickly evolving risks characterised by high uncertainties regarding their occurrence, impacts and consequences. Emerging Risks include technology risks, such as cyber-, fracking- and nano-risks, but also health risks (microbial resistance, multiple stressors etc.) and environmental risks (subsidence, super nat cats etc.), among others. They are long-tail risks with potentially severe impacts on the economy, the society and the environment. The Emerging Risks Center supports your enterprise in the analysis, assessment and management of emerging risks.
