FramingNano Delphi Questionnaire Online

FramingNano is an FP7-funded international mutli-stakeholder dialogue platform to regulate the development of nanosciences and nanotechnologies (NS&T). A two-part Delphi study is a key element of FramingNano which is now open for interested stakeholders to be completed.

The two-part Delphi study is a key element of FramingNano. It forms the backbone of the entire project and comprises the core of the dialogue process. The most important aim of the Delphi study to is to gather stakeholders' views and expectations in relation to environmental, health and safety (EHS) issues and to ethical, legal, and social issues (ELSI) related to nanotechnology. The outcomes of the Delphi study will form a vital input to the deliberative process and the subsequent development of governance and regulatory proposals.

Complete the Delphi questionnaire until February 25th and contribute towards the development of a European governance framework for the responsible development of nanoscience and nanotechnology. The questionnaire comprises 20 multipart questions and will take around 30 minutes to complete. The FramingNano Project thanks you for your important input to this project.

FramingNano is an FP7 project established with the objective of defining a governance framework, together with constructive and practicable regulatory proposals, aimed at supporting a responsible development of nanoscience and nanotechnology through the process of an open and international multi-stakeholder dialogue amongst the scientific, institutional, industrial, non-governmental and broader public communities.

The final outcome of the FramingNano project will be a proposal for a Governance Plan highlighting the needs, actions and recommendations necessary to develop safe nanotechnology at EU level and beyond. This will be achieved by establishing an open International multi-stakeholder dialogue amongst the scientific, institutional and industrial communities, and the broader public, in order to foster the development of a shared frame of knowledge, objectives and actions to define constructive and practicable regulatory solutions, facilitating responsible development of NS&T.
