Review of Key Developments in 2009 in Nanotechnology Safety Research

In its first feature article of 2010, SAFENANO provides a summary of key nanoEHS developments from 2009, and considers how these are likely to shape 2010 in nano. The review goes into several key issues which happened in 2009 - starting with the 5 year anniversary RS/RAE report from the UK which analysed how many of the recommendations from the report have been sulfilled so far. Furthermore, the Safenano review mentions some of the scientific publications in 2009 which have received considerable media coverage and led to interesting insights in the way how such publications are taken up by different groups of stakeholders.
